2. They are very, very hardy, in any weather
3. They are execllent layers, I have a hen who started to lay two weeks ago and she has laid an egg almost every day.
4. They are also very good for meat.
5. They are beautiful.
6. They are such friendly birds! Once you own Doms you'll never want another kind of chicken.
